Realising now, that Wordpress is the best way to go with Blogging. Screw Atmosphere!
Well folks, after two years of being rediculously hawkish on using my Atmosphere platform for writing blogs and the like, I have come to grips with the reality, that it was not going to help me with internet marketing. I have realised that now, wordpress has everything and then some, to make a dreary blog, turn into something quite extravagant. That is why now, I use wordpress for everything in the blogosphere. I would only make sense at this point.
Rules for a successful blog:
1. Use wordpress. Not exceptions there. Do be a cocky loser like me and use your own dynamically programmed conjurations, because wordpress is heavily modified to be SEO friendly and get more traffice. Wordpress also pings all of the major blog search engines after you publish a post. I happened to snap up some nice google serp ratings in less than a week’s time! And isn’t google usually a bitch to get anything good from? USE WORDPRESS!
2. Use onlywire.com for social bookmarking. These guys are the once-and-done solution for getting the word out on blogging. As of right now, they use only 24 different social bookmark sites, and unfortunately digg is not one of them. I still manually bookmark to digg.
3. Get socialist! Nope, I haven’t backed from my conservative (Not Republican!) ways, but this awesome plugin for wordpress will give you a social bookmark bar on the bottom of each wordpress post. This is so your site visitors can digg, stumble upon, furl, spurl, or delicious your posts!
4. Especially if you are niche writing, you should really take into strong consideration, having instead of one blog to put all of your blogging eggs into, build a small network of blogs. Heck, if you are using blogs for promoting items, on clickbank, cj, click2sell. etc. This is something of strong importance here. Get a domain for 9 dollars a year, and this should be easily recooperable if you do this right.
5. Get a VPS system for hosting. This is a great way to host your content and be able to manage multiple domains and wordpress systems using a VPS.
6. Write 2-3 articles per blog a day. In my forex blog at www.goforextrade.com, I write not only about products that I review, but I also write about the meanderings of the currency market, and how and why things are happening the way they are. Having more blogs besides a selling piece on products that you review, will help increase trust from your visitors, and build your reputation as an expert in the field niche.
7. Schedule yourself. Yes, working at home has it advantages, but definitely schedule yourself to perform certain tasks throughout the day. Like for example, before or after breakfast, read your email, reply to email. After lunch post a couple of blogs, do some product testing for a product review, etc.
Having these 7 tips will greatly help you become a tour de force in your niche, and help your blog become a superstar!
Have an awesome day!
